Gary Numan announces North American tour dates

Gary Numan has announced a fairly lengthy tour of North America to support his new album Savage. Sadly, there are no Florida dates, but a plane ticket seems like a good investment to catch the star at any of these intimate venues.

His work in the late '70s and early '80s needs no introduction; three albums - Replica, The Pleasure Principle and Telekon - hit the top of the UK charts. American fans probably best know Gary for the hits Cars and Are Friends Electric?

According to his official website, the first single off the new album will be My Name is Ruin, which features his daughter Persia (who also sings on the track). It was filmed in the desert area of California earlier this month during a heat wave, where temperates reached about 118 degrees. No word yet on when we’ll see the completed video.
