Market your way down Central Avenue and find chopper gear at Grayspeed
The ’Burg Has It: St. Pete RoundUp
There are so many markets around St. Petersburg this Saturday, you can easily make a day of it. The following list takes you up Central Avenue with one short detour on the way.
It’s the St. Pete Indie Market’s last event at its indoor summer venue, the State Theatre, with more than 50 artists and makers selling their creations. 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 687 Central Ave.
The folks at ARTpool are back from their summer vacation, just in time to hold Crafty Fest Market. Shop vendors selling handmade and vintage items, and check out the shop and gallery, too. You can even grab a beer there. Crafty Fest runs Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 2030 Central Ave.
Here’s the short detour I mentioned: the Side Lot Summer Sale. Vendors will be selling new and used items, and there will be music, food and drinks next to Brocante Market and 3 Daughters Brewing at 2133 Second Ave. S. 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
Find antiques, art and crafts at the Grand Central Market, located in the parking lot of Punky’s Bar & Grill, 3063 Central Ave. Grab a bite and a libation and enjoy live music, too. 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
Chopper Central: Grayspeed Cycles
Grayspeed Cycles is a new addition to the chopper-loving ’Burg. They specialize in custom motorcycles, parts, apparel and accessories, and carry brands including Moon, Whiteknuckler and Grifter. They’re having an open house Sunday from noon to 5 p.m., when you can check out the shop, meet fellow motorcycle enthusiasts and enjoy food and drinks. Grayspeed’s regular hours are Monday-Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. 2060 First Ave. S. grayspeed.com.
