Plant alum Jake Fruhmorgen reportedly transferring from Clemson to Florida
Former Plant High star Jake Fruhmorgen is transferring from Clemson to Florida, according to multiple reports.
Fruhmorgen was a U.S. Army All-American and a four-star recruit at Plant. He was one of the country's top 150 recruits in the class of 2015 before enrolling early at Clemson.
The 6-foot-5, 290-pound offensive tackle was a contributor on the Tigers' run to the 2015 national title game. He started eight times last season but sat out much of the year on a Clemson team that won it all in Tampa.
His father, John, played collegiately at Alabama and professionally with the Miami Dolphins. He did not return a request for comment.
