Everyone's BFF, Taylor Swift, astonishes fan with surprise wedding performance
Sometimes when you’re feeling down, the best thing you can do to feel better is to help somebody else. Cue the kindness of the ever-thoughtful Taylor Swift, who last week broke up with producer Calvin Harris after 15 months of dating.
According to People, T-Swizzle showed up at a longtime fan’s wedding over the weekend and even performed a stripped-down version of Blank Space during the reception. Swift coordinated the surprise over the last few months with Ali Singer, the sister of groom Max Singer.
In April, Ali wrote to the 26-year-old pop star to tell her that Max and wife Kenya Smith wed at the hospital so Max and Ali’s late mother wouldn’t miss the big day. Max, a major Swift fan, danced with his mom to Blank Space.
The Shake It Off singer didn’t show up empty-handed, either. She hand-painted a card for the couple that read, “so it’s gonna be forever” with the wedding date painted in the center of a floral circle.
Singer and Smith celebrated their marriage on Saturday at the Brant Beach Yacht Club in Brant Beach, N.J.
“Third wheel,” Swift captioned an adorable Instagram photo of herself with the couple.
