UPDATED: Rays complete spring training schedule

Note: Updated Dec. 6

Spring training will start earlier than usual for the Rays in 2018, based on a March 29 regular-season opener vs. Boston at the Trop.

Spring workouts will start Feb. 14 for pitchers and catchers at the Charlotte Sports Park, and Feb. 19 for the full squad under manager Kevin Cash.

The Rays have released their full spring schedule – with 14 games in Port Charlotte and a 15th at the Trop (March 27) – as have several other teams, so below is what we are able piece together thus far.

The Rays are accepting deposits for spring season tickets ($100 per seat), and are selling three-game packs (starting at $51), but single-game ticket sales won't begin until January 12. For more information, see raysbaseball.com/spring or call 888-FAN-RAYS.

There are now four giveaways planned: For the first 1,000 fans on Feb, 23 a Blake Snell bobblehead; for the first 500 kids on March 11 a Chris Archer emoji, on March 18 a Rays Win alarm clock, on March 25 swim goggles.
