DEVELOPING: After grabbing on to the second wild-card spot in the AL with Tuesday's 8-1 win over the Blue Jays, the Rays look to get to a season-high four games over .500 when they wrap this two-game series with the Blue Jays tonight.
The Rays will be again without SS Tim Beckham, who sat out Tuesday with a sore right knee. That's even a bigger deal tonight with the Jays starting a lefty.
Here is the Rays lineup:
RHP Jake Odorizzi will be on the mound for the Rays, looking to build on his last outing, when he worked into the seventh Thursday in beating White Sox, his longest outing in a month.
The Jays are starting LHP Francisco Liriano, who has made two five-inning starts (10 hits, five runs) since spending three weeks on DL for shoulder issue. This is his fourth time facing Rays this season, 1-0, 9.00 thus far.
