FHP: Hudson killed in crash exiting Interstate 75

BRANDON — A 24-year-old Hudson man died early Sunday after he was thrown out of the car he was driving, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

At about 4:30 a.m., the man, who authorities haven't identified pending notification to family members, was driving a 2003 Jeep SUV off southbound Interstate 75 and onto the U.S. 301 access road.

For unknown reasons, the man lost control of the Jeep, troopers said. The car drove off the road and flipped, throwing the man out of the car.

He died at the scene of the crash.
