Events canceled this week by Hurricane Irma: Marlon Wayans, Depeche Mode

Hurricane Irma is once again wrecking our weekend plans. A number of shows and events were canceled or postponed because of power or travel disruption.

Marlon Wayans: The comedian's show Saturday at the Mahaffey Theater has been postponed. A new date has not been announced.

Depeche Mode: The band's show at Tampa's MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre on Wednesday was canceled. While it's possible the show could be rescheduled, the band's statement refers to it as a "cancellation," and notes only that refunds are available at point of purchase.

Damian "Jr. Gong" Marley: His Wednesday show at Jannus Live in St. Petersburg has been postponed. Refunds are available at point of purchase, but tickets will still be good when a new date is announced.

Two-Headed Calf Fest: This celebration of weirdness at St. Petersburg's Museum of History will be postponed again, this time because many of the circus performers slated to be there are stuck in Sarasota dealing with hurricane debris. The museum says it is looking for a date in October to try again and will announce a new date later this week. Check spmoh.com for updates.

Lydia Loveless: The rising alt-country star's show Thursday at Ringside Cafe in St. Petersburg has been postponed to an as-yet undetermined date. Check facebook.com/ClubDetroitSt.Pete. "We're super sorry and are going to use the time to work on new material and figure out how to help those affected by the storm," she wrote on Facebook. "We will be back around to make it up to you and we're thinking of you all."

Ybor shows: In Ybor City, the three shows have been canceled: The Japanese Breakfast Tuesday, Jason Richardson on Wednesday and the Demi Nova Experience Part 2 on Friday.

Disgraced: The Heather Theatre has canceled its Friday and Saturday performances. The 3 p.m. Sunday show will go on as scheduled. Two 3 p.m. Sunday matinees have now been added, Sept. 24 and Oct. 1.

Flying: Tampa Repertory Theatre will not open its show this weekend. Instead the show will open at 8 p.m. Wednesday, with a preview 8 p.m. Tuesday.

The Marvelous Wondrettes: Stageworks Theatre has moved the opening date from Sept. 22 to Sept. 29 and will now run through Oct. 15.

White Fang: Freefall Theatre is assessing its Sept. 30 opening of White Fang following the storm, which caused minor structural damage and disrupted rehearsal schedules. The theater expects to have a verdict soon.

Museums and attractions: Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando theme parks are open. The Dali Museum and the Tampa Museum of Art will re-open Wednesday. The Henry Plant Museum and St. Petersburg Museum of History in Tampa will reopen Thursday. The Lowry Park Zoo plans to open at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. Busch Gardens and SeaWorld will re-open Wednesday.
